I am a farmer… Friday , October 30, 2014 / Barenbach, Germany #SchwervonPoetry

I am a Farmer
Slicing up the air
Like bread
I am a warrior artist
Harvesting the wind

You have a choice
Unlike the mud
To hear the music
Or the noise

You have a choice
Like a child’s hand on a hot stove
To see the beauty
Or the ugly

There is no answer blowing around
The wind has no Godhead
There is no judgement or opinion
The only voice is the donky on the hill

You see the love
In the machine
Or you don’t

You hear home
in the leaves of the trees
Or you smell the hell

Islands are part of the ocean
We grow stronger
Like the sand
Always giving, giving, giving

We let it sink to the bottom
Like buried treasure
Deep into the cold mud
The fish flow over it
They cover it with
Their shits

Here lies
the shit covered gold
Safely
Where it hurts no one

Last night I dreamed  I was a comedian… Thursday , October 30, 2014 / Cologne, Germany #SchwervonPoetry

The corpse of CBGB’s
Will never rest in peace.
How long until the final morsel
Is picked from her bones?

Last night I dreamed
I was a comedian
Luckily I woke
before I had to to say anything
Funny

If the hole in the curtain
Is where you see things
Then through the hole in the curtain
Is how you will be seen

In Germany the beer is free
But you gotta pay to pee

When we wake on top of the Mountian
Life is about learning to fall

We see things electronically
It was always this way
Electric fire
Electric stars
Electric warriors
Electric bees

We sting with love
And our sparking silver tipped tails

Someone tore the wings from
My back
And replaced them with guitars

We mask the pain
With amplification
Bzzzzzzzz bzzzzzzzz

We suck the music from
Flowers

We infuse it
We use it

We never lose it
