Show Poem: September 17, 2017 Murray, KY @ Terrapin Station #poetry

Red riding lawn mowers
Sirloin stockade prison break
Marshall tucker flute solo
Chinese Korean Thai Sushi Roll
Hot pink mossy oak
Drunken noodle support group

We are all here for each other
Sometimes we hold things
Sometimes we hold each other
These are the best times

I know the world is not against me
But today, it’s really pissing me off

Clouds hold their positions
Like petrified explosions

You were my hero this morning
I fought you every step of the way
Sometimes I have to fall
To see you grow
Your mercy is the trees
Along the highway
My lesson is the love that happens
In the quite pauses
