Bad DJ’s and good tequila…Sunday / November 16, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

Bad DJ’s and good tequila
A government
that most people
Never voted for

Pornographic novelty
Tits and tatoos
Ironic sexism

Smoke driven Saturdays
World famous bartenders

Vanilla candles
And garlic toast
Dried tomatoes
Supersized bottles of wine
Punk rock iPad
Industries of pleasure
No no no
treasure

It’s not all bad
It’s just some bad
A different kind of poetey
A life with no back echo
Steps without resonence

I do not wish to wake
Each morning
In front of a mirror.

I prefer to see more in looking
I don’t always need lights
And amplification

These are the tools
Research
And love
But they are not love
Love is love
It’s always this way
And always will be

Love is a house of warmth

We enter the tunnel dry. We leave the tunnel wet…Saturday / November 15, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

Too much eye make up
Free ketchup
Honoring the dish
Respecting the gas

Everyone just staring
Tricks of the trade

Waiting for our ride
No soap in the toilets
Security guards at the door

Look at that caveman go

French Mexican
Push through
Push through
We don’t know what we’re doing
Just doing what we do

Fault pas poussez
MeMe des orties
Surtout elle n’a pas de coulettes

Girls like dolls
Boys like soldiers
Women like soldiers
Men like dolls

Those trees look like monkeys
The branches are arms with fists

Let’s cross the border
Let’s border the crosses

Like a mouth that could feed
Itsself with words
Or a heart that could feed
Itsself with blood
Imagine a world that
Could make itsself happy

We enter the tumnel dry
We leave the tunnel wet
We enter the tunnel wet
We leave the tunnel soft and relaxed

We slowly slowly slooowly
Scrape the paper
For some good news
It will come
Do not worry
The day we stop singing
About wine and cigarettes
It will come
Boom
Like a baby on the floor
We will lift it up and gold it
In our arms

Kiss a cop for Jesus… Friday / November 14, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

Kiss a cop for Jesus

Chocolate ice cream
Before midnight
Hearsay is news
Lasagne by Aldi

Waking to the sound of
Running water and cars
A lover snoring
A computer dies every 20 seconds

I have brilliant friends
But everybody gets tired

I will employ one thousand
Canary birds to
Blow my wet hands dry

You don’t have to destroy a life
Just jerk off
And get back to business

In one second everything can change
A worm can turn into a lion
A tree can explode
A teardrop falls from a wire
A teapot melts

Banannas for everyone

I express myself
And sometimes it hurts
That doesn’t mean the world
Is there for the purpose
Of absorbing my droppings

The world is a teacher
We learn so much more
When we listen
We learn so much more
When we respect the teacher

When we love
Sometimes things are difficult
It doesn’t always rain
When you want it to
But rain is never wrong

Bad feelings can grow
Like a centipede
But love can grow too

L’amour.
It’s a choice
It’s easy
Love is hard
Love can be easy too
