Okay! Day 3 on the road. We hit Indianapolis and played a show with our new Naptown band buddies Mr. Clit and the Pink Cigarettes and then I ate way too many pancakes at Denny’s after the show.
Next was our first show ever in Canton, Ohio where we ate way too much Chinese food and then played a hoppin’ show with a cool psych-folk rock duo called Dolly Rocker Ragdoll. They’re coming to NYC soon so keep an eye out NYC friends.
Tonight it’s a house show in Pittsburgh. This is our first visit here and we have to say, “So far, Pittsburgh, we really like your style!” We got in a bit early, so we grabbed a bite and went for a nice walk. The skyline is quite beautiful.
We are now camped out at the Crazy Mocha Coffee shop, where their mascot is a goat, based upon the myth about the discovery of coffee. As the story goes: one day a goat herder named Kaldi noticed his goats hopping around after eating these mysterious wild berries. And, you guessed it, they turned out to be coffee beans. Hope to see some dancing goats at the show tonight!
Tomorrow, we hoof it to NYC where, hopefully, we’ll get to spend a night off with some friends. And then it’s the big Vaselines show on Thursday. Hee Haw! Get your tickets here: http://www.ticketweb.com/t3/sale/SaleEventDetail?dispatch=loadSelectionData&eventId=4592295&pl=bellpl
