No time to tumble  No time to fall…Friday / November 28, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

IMG_4545.JPG

From a distance
A thin layer of paint
Keeps a fantastic
Tradition alive
The private stalls
That still allow
Private business
The bliss of stink
And judgeless release

Velcro eyebrows
Under aged
The art of the paint
The pointless canvas

Beatles moving
slowly across
The mountain side
The pressure in rocks
The faked profundity

Pies pies pies
Jack and Jill go up
And up and up and up
No time to tumble
No time to fall
Up up up
Okay
Maybe the odd public spat
At the train station
But that’s it
At this point you go down
You could seriously hurt something
Beak a hip
Some bullshit like that
No health insurance
Who’s got time for that
It’s all uphill from here kid.
Let’s learn to love it

It’s getting harder  To know where to drop the bombs…Saturday / November 23, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

Fight for a voice
Fight for a choice
Fight for your right

Fight to fight
Stay up all night
Scream until your face turns blue
Talk talk talk talk
So much to be angry about
So much to fear

It’s getting harder
To know where to drop the bombs

It’s getting harder to scream
Without disturbing
Someone you love

It’s getting harder to love
Without pissing someone off

It’s getting harder to love
Getting pissed off

Piss love
It’s getting better all the time

Take a bite of the apple
Have your piece of the pie

Forget your keys
Lock yourself into the love
Machine
Let’s spread it around
Like a Nutella highway
Let’s smear the love
And the luck it off each other

Dance in the disco grass
Go back and revise
The cave paintings
With more color
More fire
More warmth

I understand the words by looking
At your face

Stop chasing yourself…Thursday / November 20, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

Go to bed mad
Wake up happy
Stop remembering
Stop blaming others
For your sadness
Eat more fruit

Stop chasing yourself
Stop trying to kill all the flies
They are there for a reason
The flies are not bullets
They feed the birds.

Every day is a new day.
Hamburgers happen
The yellow truck fucks the green truck

This one gets another toy
This one learns a new language

Ich esse obst.
Du isst gemuse.
Let’s meet on the toilet
And see how things turn out.

Love inspires
Fear destroys
It has to be hard sometimes.

Leaves fall
They grow back.
And fall and grow back
Over and over.
It’s never totally over.

We’ve broken the seal
And now we lay along the shore
Waiting for a morning
That barely makes sense

A ring on your toe
Whiskey in a wine glass

I’m leaving
I don’t know why
There’s sun in my coffe cup
Gold on my plate
Breaking rocks together
Is the music
That keeps us
Moving

Never learning some things
Is the lesson
Never learning
Together
Forever
Until it’s time
For the leaves to fall again
And again
And again
The leaves are green
And red and brown
The leaves are beautiful
