Today’s bank tomorrow’s Starbucks
Yesterday’s International House of Panckes
Tomorrow’s Burritovulle

Motel 6
Super 8
23 skidoo
Cheese trumpet

There’s something on the tip of my tongue
That I want to put on the tip of your tongue

Eternity for men
The cost of quality baggage
Nervous clerks and
Confident pet owners

Cardboard boxes full of cardboard
Slow poke movements
Casting out the fishes
In search of larger nets

Kicke em when their up
Kick em when their down

Bored baby on board
All hail the bottom feeder
Number one sock puller
The king of the bean bags
Maker proud of the mothers

Hawk on a road sign
Sour cherry balls in a cup

Nothing inspires
Like a well lit audience

Razors back Guinea pigs
Spinning the wheel
Seeds of a sunflower
Coffee at the mall
Good will lampshade
The perfect boots

How is never far away
We’re gonna turn this thing
We’re gonna turn it right over
To the cold side

A microwave in every room
Pot in every flower

Perhaps it is time
Time for all the frost bitten vampires
To come home

Tear it up
Burn it down
Blow it away
Fuck it all
Start over
Kiss it
Grow it
Feed it and clothe it
Listen up

This is my boner
Broken for you
Trumpoline on ice

This my hair
On oak mites
I can wash it
I can cut it
Do anything I’d normally do
I just look like I have hair
While I’m doing it

These are my children
That have to suffer now
Feasting on dust sandwiches

The loudest mouths suffer the most
Paying for all the risky business
The cheese between the bread
The chili peppers in the sky
The bottled violence
And contaminated water

I try to be a sweet man
Try to tap into that sweaty sweetness
That sticky man sap that
No elders respect

A party in the shadows
A tall man under my tent flaps
Learning to sign for the Def Leopard

DIY deploy it yourself
DIY destroy it yourself
DIY devour it yourself
DIY deflower yourself
the children and the oldies
DIY Dirk Diggler yourself

Pull it all together
Pull it all together
Pull it all together

As we dance around the cauldron
Bobbing for brains
And sub plots to our
Dream inspired nightmares
And nightmare inspired dreams

We hi five the
Broomstick branches
Weed wack the highway light
Skipping past the nostalgic horror
Comedy cartoon documentary porn

Concocting midnight spells for
Healing the masses of discontent
Over stuffed sandwiches
Dripping with carbonated flowers

It is not our job to out the demons
But we can ask them questions
We can give them places to go
A bench at the buss stop
A cannery for their coal mines

Ode to the neck pillow
And the one in five children
To the arch that arches
Every day in in the shadows

10 bones at the pump
Respect the body
You are trying to deal
Respect the body
You are trying to feel
