Kiss a cop for Jesus

Chocolate ice cream
Before midnight
Hearsay is news
Lasagne by Aldi

Waking to the sound of
Running water and cars
A lover snoring
A computer dies every 20 seconds

I have brilliant friends
But everybody gets tired

I will employ one thousand
Canary birds to
Blow my wet hands dry

You don’t have to destroy a life
Just jerk off
And get back to business

In one second everything can change
A worm can turn into a lion
A tree can explode
A teardrop falls from a wire
A teapot melts

Banannas for everyone

I express myself
And sometimes it hurts
That doesn’t mean the world
Is there for the purpose
Of absorbing my droppings

The world is a teacher
We learn so much more
When we listen
We learn so much more
When we respect the teacher

When we love
Sometimes things are difficult
It doesn’t always rain
When you want it to
But rain is never wrong

Bad feelings can grow
Like a centipede
But love can grow too

L’amour.
It’s a choice
It’s easy
Love is hard
Love can be easy too

We will let ourselves  Be caught in the nets… Wednesday / November 12, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

Staying up too late with friends
Souer kirsch mit peanut butter

Learning to deal with an
Anxious loved one
I am so, so proud of you
So I am proud of us

We dance like 3  sausages
Nurnburgers
Exposing on a hot plate

And if you start to feel
The deep fog settling in
Don’t worry
I will guide you
With silence
And being

Insanity can be beautiful
Hurting people is not beautiful
Self obsession is not beautiful

But when it passes
It is a like a million setting sons
Into an ocean of warm absenthe

Cat pictures just might
Save the world
Saving the world
Just might destroy
The universe

Saving ourselves
Shaving our cells
Shaving our shelves
Showering our shoulders

Okay
We are all scared
The bravest thing is to admit it
The bravest thing is the be afraid
The bravest thing is not to fight

The grass will grow back
The bumps will smooth over

The gas stations will come and go
The angel wings flutter
Like un plugged guitar strings

We let them pull us
Pull us into the lake water
We will swim like fish
We will let ourselves
Be caught in the nets
We will allow ourselves to
Be eaten.
It is the best for now

I used to love fear but now it bores me… Sunday / November 9, 2014 #SchwervonPoetry

IMG_4345.JPG
I used to fear sleep
but now I love it
I used to love fear
but now it bores me

Distraction is a way to be happy

Like a horse on the prairie
Run to the music of
Your own gallop

Gal up gal up Gallup up up up

The galloping ghost
Will appear in your waking moment

Drive fast,
get drunk,
stay up late

The man will give you
Lots of chances to feel
Free

Pay no attention to the man
Or the man
Behind the curtain
Or the man in the moon
Stop waiting for your man
It could be a woman
It could be a sandwich

Listen to the ghost
Fill your ears with cake and bread.

Sometimes if you just read it again
Something will come
Sometimes if you just start moving
Things start to move

Ich esse schnitzel.
Ich esse das Leben.
Ich bin nicht Schwer.

I am floating through
I’m not fighting the air
I trust it
The air is there always
Hold it
Let it hold you
